How much does it cost to ship a car?

Local California: 1–3 days. Regional West Coast: 2–5 days. Cross-country: 7–10 days from pickup.
Is open or enclosed transport better?
Open transport is more affordable and works for most vehicles. Enclosed is recommended for luxury, exotic, classic, or high-value vehicles.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. Every carrier in JLCON's network maintains cargo and liability insurance meeting or exceeding FMCSA requirements.
Can I ship personal items inside my vehicle?
FMCSA generally limits personal items to about 100 lbs, kept in the trunk and below the window line. Ask your booking agent for specifics.
Do you offer door-to-door service?
Yes — door-to-door is standard. If your street can't accommodate a large carrier, we coordinate the closest legal/physical meet-up.
Can you ship non-running vehicles?
Yes, with advance notice. Carriers with winches handle inoperable vehicles for a modest surcharge.
How do I prepare my vehicle?
Wash it, document existing damage, remove personal items, disable alarms, leave a quarter tank of fuel, and ensure the battery holds a charge.
How quickly can I get pickup?
Standard pickup windows are 1–5 business days. Expedited service is available for an additional fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
